Downtown Holiday Lights

Fort Collins Holiday Light Displays

Historic Old Town Fort Collins will glow once again thanks to thousands of strands of holiday lights that illuminate alleyways, sidewalks, and street-tops throughout downtown. This year’s Downtown Holiday Lights debuted on Friday, Nov. 3rd, during the annual lighting ceremony, and will stay on from dusk to dawn daily through Feb. 14th. The stunning display of low-energy/sustainable LED lights spans seven blocks, illuminating Old Town’s trees, European-inspired alleyways, and beautiful storefronts. You can experience the holiday lights anywhere along College Avenue, the northern boundary of LaPorte Avenue, and continuing south to Magnolia Street. Trees will be lit along Walnut Street, Linden Street, Pine Street, Old Town Square, Oak Street Plaza, and Mountain Avenue.

The annual display features a variety of garden scenes creatively lit by hundreds of thousands of LED lights. The Garden of Lights twinkles each evening from Friday, Dec. 8th through Saturday, Dec. 23rd, from 5 - 9 p.m.

Stroll among hundreds of kaleidoscopic blossoms illuminating the Great Lawn in multi-colored motion, a holiday village, and a half-mile loop of towering flowerbeds, glowing grapevines, and other imaginative displays constructed entirely from hundreds of LED lights. Don’t miss the new photo op inspired by the on-site Butterfly House, as well as other engaging additions.
