We all know that Fort Collins has some of the greatest festivals in Colorado and that is no truer than the Colorado Summer Events 2015. Enjoy weekend-long events celebrating everything great about our town. Here are 10 events that should already be part of your summer weekend schedules.

1. Old Town Car Show- May 30th
Hot rods, vintage cars and classic trucks line the streets of Old Town Fort Collins one day a year during the Old Town Car Show. Enjoy a warm spring day strolling by vendor booths setup throughout the historic streets of Old Town, while you view the beautiful cars displayed at the show. This event is perfect for the whole family and a great way to explore Old Town in a unique light.
2. Colorado Brewer’s Fest and the Summit- June 26-28
Everyone knows that Fort Collins is a craft beer mecca, and we never miss the chance to celebrate our love for the industry. The Colorado Brewer’s Fest (CBF) is a weekend long festival featuring craft beer from some of Colorado’s best craft breweries. Enjoy live music, family-fun, local food trucks and of course…craft beer tents galore. Become an expert in Colorado craft beer and Fort Collins festivals at this annual summer event! If you’re looking for a more intimate tasting experience where you can enjoy limited edition and unique brews from local Colorado breweries, don’t miss the Summit which happens Friday evening before CBF as a kick-off celebration.
3. Taste of Fort Collins- June 12-14
Each year this weekend-long event happens in downtown Fort Collins, featuring tasty food, local vendors, amusement rides for the whole family and live music all weekend long, making it the perfect kick off to summer in Fort Collins. This year enjoy headliners such as Andy Grammer, Smash Mouth, The Mowglis and Atlas Genius on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings!
4. Bohemian Nights at New West Fest - August 14-16

As northern Colorado’s largest live music festival, New West Fest draws large crowds due to its always impressive line-up and its free entry. This weekend long festival features multiple outdoor stages, local craft beer, lots of vendors and tons of fun sprawled throughout all of Old Town. Although the 2015 headliners haven’t been released yet, huge names loom on the horizon. 2014’s lineup included Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo and WAR.
5. July 4th Celebration
July 4th is always an exciting time to be in Fort Collins. With events happening all around town, there are ways to celebrate all day long. Enjoy family-friendly celebrations such as the Old Fashioned 4th of July at the Avery House featuring Old-timey musicians, historic Fort Collins character portrayals, yard games, summer-centric food and drink and fun for the whole family. Also, don’t miss the annual parade that trails through the historic streets of Old Town and then enjoy a day of live music, food and vendors at City Park. The night ends in a spectacular firework show in Fort Collins’ oldest park.
6. USA Pro Challenge- August 22nd
The USA Pro Challenge, one of the largest cycling events in U.S history made its debut in Fort Collins in 2013 and it’s coming back for another year. This huge spectator sport will draw crowds from all over the U.S to see the world’s best cyclist race through the majestic Colorado Rockies, including Fort Collins, Colo. Enjoy as they cycle over the Horsetooth Reservoir dams, up Bingham Hill and into Old Town Fort Collins. This USA Pro Challenge features lots of fun for the whole family, including vendors, food, drink, live music and wonderful viewing of this broadcasted event.
7. Breathe Yoga Festival- June 20-21
Fort Collins welcomes with open arms, the very first outdoor yoga and meditation festival in northern Colorado. Enjoy a weekend in City Park celebrating the Summer Solstice with back-to-back guided yoga, meditation and holistic healing classes. Also, enjoy local-live music, a local vendor marketplace and tasty food. Buy a weekend pass and plan your yoga/meditation schedule for a full two days of complete relaxation.
8. Live Music Concert Series- Multiple Dates
Live music is a big deal around Fort Collins, and during the summer there is no shortage of opportunities to experience the scene. Even if you aren't able to make it to one of the large summer festivals you can still enjoy live outdoor music at one of the local concert series. Enjoy the Lagoon Concert Series at Colorado State University on Wednesday evenings. Check out the Downtown Summer Sessions in Old Town on Friday evenings. Thursday nights feature the Thursday Night Live Concert Series on Walnut St. If you’re looking for live outdoor music during the day, don’t miss the Noontime Notes Concert Series on Tuesday afternoons June through August in Oak St. Plaza.
9. Tour de Fat- September 5th
Bikes, Beer and Bemusement is the slogan of this annual costumed bike and beer parade and festival. Enjoy the quirky nature of Fort Collins at this New Belgium Brewery hosted event. Ride your bike in your best costume from Old Town to City Park and then enjoy a day full of wacky carnival fun, live performances and tasty New Belgium Beer…in the home of New Belgium, Fort Collins, Colo.
10. FORToberfest- September 18-19
This fun event celebrates all the fun we had during the summer in Fort Collins and our excitement for the future fall season. Enjoy local fall craft beer tappings, live music, and bikes, bikes and more bikes. This event is the final summer festival of the year, and one that is not to miss.
