In a world that sometimes feels vast and divisive, music gives us a shared language of experience and emotion, and can make communication across cultures as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4. From October 15 - 22, Fort Collins will welcome OneBeat, featuring 25 musicians from 17 different countries who will collaborate with the community through performances, interactive installations, workshops, demonstrations and conversations designed to find common ground. OneBeat Fort Collins events abound throughout the week, with many centered within the Downtown Fort Collins Creative District, and Fort Collins visitors and residents alike are invited to participate. Activities range from concerts and immersive sound explorations to a specially curated film series highlighting the power of music to strengthen communities. The Music District will act as a host, home base and workspace for OneBeat. All OneBeat Fort Collins public events are free or donation-based, and families are encouraged to attend.
