Join Julie Peachtree, herbalist and school garden coordinator, in the garden to learn the basics of growing medicinal herbs.
We will be covering starting seeds, transplanting, tending, harvest, and medicine making with a handful of herbs who grow well here on the Front Range.
Participants will leave with seeds or starts for their own growing projects.
This class takes place outside, at the La Familia school garden located at 309 Hickory St. Meet at the picnic table under the apple tree near the parking lot.
