FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WELCOME TO NOCO FALL AERIAL ARTS TRAINING.

FALL SCHEDULE: August 11- December 9

PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS PAGE & GET READY TO FLY WITH US!

CLASS LOCATIONS. Where is my class?

NOCO has been in residence at California Arts Academy (CALarts) since 2010; for the fall & spring semesters, all classes are held at the Blackstone location: 4750 N. Blackstone Ave

CLASS FORMAT DESCRIPTIONS. What’s the difference between the classes?

CLASS AVAILABILITY. How do I sign up?

The easiest way to come to class is : TO COME TO CLASS:)

  1. Check out the schedule of times & formats and see which works for you. FALL SCHEDULE
  2. Show up to your class ready to fly: 4750 N Blackstone Ave.!

Due to safety and the increased demand and popularity in NOCOaerial classes, we are integrating the MindBody APP this semester in order to limit our classes to 12 clients; the best way to ensure you have a reserved spot in the class is to use the MindBody App. Other ways to prepare for class are:

  1. Decide how you want to pay: class card (5 or 10), private class ($70), single drop in ($20), or semester registration (best deal).
  2. Read through the rest of this page for tips, like what to wear <FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS>

DRESS CODE. What do I wear?

All students must REMOVE ALL JEWELRY before taking any aerial arts class. It is the student’s responsibility to take off his/her jewelry. It is a risk to yourself and the fabric. Students who do not take off their jewelry will be liable to any damage caused to the fabric or hardware.

Especially for beginning students, it is important to have garments that cover your armpits and behind your knees, and that your torso is not exposed; those areas can be burned by sliding on the fabric.

Aerial Playground students may wish to have pants with options to expose and/or cover their knees depending on the climb/drop; climbing students must always cover their torso when performing & learning drops.

CLASS FEES. How much is my class?

Well, that depends. Depending on how many times per week you plan to take, the rates vary respectively . Check it out and see what fits you best.  There are 3 options to pay for aerial classes: drop in, class cards, or semester class card.

If you want to drop in one time, its $20 ($15 college student). A class card is perfect for those of you with a flexible/non-consistent schedule; you can get a small discount for buying a package of classes but you reserve the right to schedule those classes at your leisure within a year. The *best* way to experience aerial arts is to train regularly, which allows you to develop the strength and flexibility that’s so wonderfully unique to aerial. The semester class card has an incentive (the best deal); this deal requires that you take all of the classes on your semester class card by the end of that particular semester (typically 14-16 weeks. You can buy this card anytime throughout the semester.  However, all semester cards will expire at the end of that semester (typically December or May).

Current Rates as of Fall 2016:

There are NO REFUNDS for any class, or drop in. However, any remaining balance on a class card can be used toward merch, products, private or small group classes, or transferred to a friend.

All class cards expire one year from purchase. (except semester class cards which expire at the end of the semester).

Cash, checks (payable to Fresno Dance Collective) and cards via Mindy Body apps are available for class purchases. To pay in advance, checkout our MindBodyApp. Download the free app, Search for “FRESNO DANCE COLLECTIVE”, and see the schedule or pay for class online!
